Terms and Conditions for Kinesiology Sessions
1) Description of Service
Kinesiology is a holistic healthcare practice combining muscle testing, cranial techniques, and other natural modalities to identify and support imbalances in the body. Sessions aim to promote physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing. The practitioner facilitates the body's natural ability to restore balance - this is not a medical or diagnostic service.
2) Practitioner - Client Relationship
A. The practitioner agrees to maintain the professional standards and ethics of The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology in Ireland.
B. The client remains responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, including decisions, actions, and results following the sessions. Kinesiology does not replace medical treatment, mental health care, or professional advice.
C. The client may discontinue sessions at any time.
D. Kinesiology may explore several areas of life (e.g. nutrition, stress, posture), and it is the client’s responsibility to apply recommendations as they see fit.
E. Kinesiology does not diagnose or treat mental disorders or physical illnesses and should not be used in place of therapy or medical consultation.
F. Clients are encouraged to be open, honest, and committed to participating fully in the process for best results.

4) Package Terms
Clients may begin with an individual session before deciding to commit to a package. If the client opts to continue, the initial consultation will be included in the full package, which must be paid for in advance to secure remaining appointments.
Should a client choose to end their package early, sessions already attended will be charged at the standard rate, and any remaining balance will be refunded.
Missed sessions without 48 hours’ notice will be considered forfeited, and a 25% deposit of the standard session rate will be requested to cover the missed appointment.
5) Procedure
Appointments are held in-person at our Belfast or Dundalk clinics.
To arrange a home visit, please email info@duffyhealth.com. Home visits are limited and incur an additional fee.
6) Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your session.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without making contact, the appointment will be cancelled, and your deposit forfeited.
If you arrive late but contact us within 15 minutes, the appointment may still go ahead, but we cannot extend your session time to compensate for time lost.

8) Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid loss of deposit. Appointments cancelled with less notice will be charged in full or result in forfeiture of deposit.
9) Record Retention
Client records are stored digitally in accordance with data protection regulations and held for a minimum of six years. Any handwritten notes are anonymised.
10) Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. In such a case, efforts will be made to recommend another qualified practitioner where appropriate.
11) Limited Liability
While every effort is made to support the client’s wellbeing, no guarantees are made regarding outcomes. Liability is limited to the amount paid for sessions up to the date of termination.
